Biography

Jennifer Yee-Shan Chang is a Lecturer at Edge Hotel School. Her research focuses on digital transformation in the services sector, focusing on technology innovations, responsible technology, and sustainable innovations. Her past and current research pipeline includes projects on the applications and impacts of AI technology, GenAI, metaverse, virtual influencers, and robots. Extending her interests in technology innovations (AI and GenAI), she is also exploring the social impacts, such as well-being and cyberchondria, and these project themes also underpin her current research agenda and teaching activities. Her papers have been published in Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Internet Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management, and others. She is also a reviewer for a few information systems, marketing, tourism, hospitality, and events journals, as well as a grant assessor.
